I was lucky enough to go away with my friends over the long Easter Weekend. Had such a great time but as always with a great time there has to be some kind of drama attached to it....
I realised this weekend that if you have something to say to someone say it straight to them, because hearing it via a "broken telephone" just doesn't help and it makes matters worse. Another thing if you have something to say to someone, SAY IT otherwise sometime it will get out and then the shit will hit the fan!!
Yesterday wasn't a great day for me... well actually it was pretty bitter/sweet!!
Had a huge fight with my best friend the night before and we still haven't resolved things but I was surprised with some news that I have been waiting to hear for about 2 - 3 months now!!!
I'm all smiles but its still going to take some time to get it too where I want it to be....but good things come to those who wait and I am that proof!!!
One thing I've learnt as well is that you have to have FAITH and belief! It's what keeps you strong and positive & that's how I aim to live my life.
What do you have if you have nothing to believe in.......?

..Too Easy
Men are too easy!!
I've realized in my 23 years of existence that all men want is attention.
Give them attention and they'll give you anything.
Lately i've been attracting the "taken", which is very frustrating... why cant i just meet a guy with "no strings attached"?! i mean is it really that difficult?
Where are you.....
But even with a "taken" man, all you need to do is a little flirting and give them the attention that they want and you have them wrapped around your little finger. It's quite terrible actually and i do feel bad about it but the girl friend is obviously not doing her job properly if her man is wondering around...
Unfortunately for them I'm a natural flirt and i can't help it when I'm standing in front of a hunky piece of MAN! it just sets it off and if he's flirting back...well whats a girl to do? I feel that it's not my problem, I'm the single one!!
A few tips:
Number 1: They always think of THEMSELVES!
Number 2: Once a cheater always a cheater!
and finally.....
Number 3: Keep your man HAPPY or he will go look for it somewhere else!

A So-called Friend
A Friend: Partners in friendship, an interpersonal relationship between humans - that is the Wikipedia definition of a friend....
They say you can't choose your family but you can choose your friends.... so why do we still put up with "friends" that are not doing their "friendly" duties?
Knowing someone for so long and being totally disappointed by them is quite heartbreaking & it makes you wonder if all those years of friendship was even worth it.
I just don't understand how in a year someone can change so drastically and it seems that every year i grow apart from another high school friend.
I was never Miss Popular at school, i had a very small, close knit group of friends and it's sad to see them slowly drift away from you - specially with everything we've been through together.
Friends will come & go but True Friends will never leave your side, no matter what! Being away from friends and family for a year has made me realize what is important in life and who my true friends are.
I'll always remember:
♥ Life is tOo shOrt tO hOLd grudges and harbOr biTTerneSs, cherish the peOple whO have been with yOu and are always with yOu ♥

i ♥ cake!
So this will be my first blog for 2011.....
Blogging has always made me a little nervous - my last blog i had while i was overseas, i kept it very hush hush as i was afraid of what people would think or say when reading my stuff, but i have now decided to screw it all and start fresh!
I shouldn't be afraid of what i say or feel cause "when it comes down to it, let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what i do then i'm already better than them anyway" - Marilyn Monroe :)
So while sitting here in my office with nothing to do... i can't help but think i want a huge slice of moist chocolate cake, the only problem is... i'm on a diet! Which i started on the 1st of April because #1 i was told i needed to lose weight and #2 i will be prancing around on a stage at the National Arts Festival in June/July holidays. Oh the joys!!
But i also can't help but think "Screw the diet!! It's only one piece of f-ing CAKE!!"
So after work i shall be driving myself to the nearest bakery and i shall buy myself a piece of cake because I ♥ CAKE!! & frankly.... i think i deserve it ;)
